Lulubell and Graham Bell

We couldn't be prouder of our Lulubell. Her dam, SMD Eliza Ferl, is a wonderful milk cow and her sire, Taylor Made, is full sibling to Top Jewel, a proven milker in the Emerald Park Farm herd in Seattle.  Taylor is our herd bull, or we would not be selling her! She will be offered at the MDBA auction with her calf Graham Bell, a fine AI male with a good disposition, from Belle Fourche Lasair: polled, black, carries red.

Cassidy

Cassidy is a yearling bull, bred with milk and beef production in mind. Sire Taylor and dam Biscuit came from very different herds but both focus on dual purpose. Biscuit is a lovely milker with a nice udder. Cassidy has turned out to be a fine example of bringing these two lines together. His easy, powerful stride and his gentle manner make him a joy to work with. He will be offered at the MDBA auction.

Lilliput

Lilliput is a feminine, gentle calf from Taylor Made and Eliza Ferl - selected from two very different herds, both of whom breed for dual purpose. Lilli is a wonderful example of bringing these two lines together. She has a nice straight topline, excellent depth and spring of rib, and a graceful stride. She has taken to her halter training very well. She will be offered for sale at the MDBA auction.

Dumpling

Dumpling is our first AI calf. We selected his sire Belle Fourche Lasair for disposition, milk production, body depth, and heel depth.  His dam Biscuit is calm but not submissive, and a very nice milker. Dumpling's profile looks like it was made with a carpenter's square, just like his mom. Dumpling is red (ee) and polled.  He will be available for sale in April 2019.

Promise

Promise is a five year old polled black cow with a sweet temperament. She calves easily, breeds back quickly, and is an excellent mom. She is bred to Taylor. She is registered but we do not offer her as breeding stock, as her conformation is lacking. Since we have limited space for cows, we would sell her at a very good price to someone who just wants beef production... something she excels at.

Steers

Our steers weigh in at around 700 lb, so a side of beef doesn't have to fill the freezer. The meat is flavorful, and so lean we oil the pan when we cook hamburgers.
We have several steers available. We offer calves to feed out, or sides / whole beef processed to order.
